Chick Challenges with {ippity} is a blog dedicated to presenting sketch challenges to use with your {ippity} stamps.
For this card I used one of my favorite Ippity stamp sets, Be Brave...Branch Out.
Used my Cricut for the die cuts and added some bling and twine to finish it up.

Challenge 21 Inspiration!

Welcome to the Get Hippity with {ippity} Challenge #21.

The theme for this challenge is

Flower and Leaves!

You must use both: flowers and leaves. Remember your creation can be any type of art you'd like. You can share a card, scrapbook layout, art journal, mixed media, anything you want to create!!

We must be able to see the theme in your project!!

I created two projects for this challenge.

Bloom and Simplify

I stamped the image on Shrink Film with Archival Ink. Colored with Copics and followed the manufacturers instructions for shrinking process.
Created the background with beads.

I did: Image & Sentiment, Faux Stitching and Distressing. The metal letters for the sentiment have been with me for a very long time, I think that they were one of my first scrapbooking supplies, many years ago.

Embellies With A Twist: Distressing!

Hi everybody and welcome to Monday Challenge at The Crafter's Cafe!

We have created this special daily challenge to encourage you to reach outside your "box" and try something new!

Our Monday challenge is

Embellies With A Twist

We all love using embellishments on our creations, but for this challenge we will add a little twist, a little something to make it interesting.

The twist this week:

Distressing!

Use your favorite technique to distress your creation, remember, we would LOVE to see all types of creations (ex. cards, scrap layouts, fat book pages, artist trading cards, tags, boxes, bags, 3D ~ Altered Art or any other crafting projects that have  some form of paper  on them).

This challenge will run until Sunday May 27, 2012 at 8:00 PM, Atlantic Time Zone.

I just love the freedom of working in my art journal.
