Challenge #1 at Delicious Doodles!

Hi everyone!

Hey... we have a secret to share... Delicious Doodles Challenges are back!!!!

Yay,aren't you excited, I know I am!

Now, we have made a couple of changes over the summer: new DT members AND we are going to be a WEEKLY challenge from now on, with two teams of lovely ladies to delight you with their inspirational makes!
The theme of our first challenge is

Celebrations

This can be any celebration: new babies, anniversaries, birthdays. As long as we can tell it is a celebration then it's fine!

Challenge 8 at The Crafter's Cafe!

The theme of Challenge # 8 at The Crafter's Cafe Challenge Blog is:

"Sewing: Faux or Real"

Here is my creation:

Image: The Great Pumpkin

Used VersaMark and a Tim Holtz stamp over the craft cardstock to create the watermark.
The border is a piece of canvas (sticky-back canvas) colored with Distress Stains (Shabby Shutters, Spiced Marmalade, Vintage Photo); once it was dried I stamped over it with a Tim Holtz Stamp and Acrylic Paint Dabber (Pebble).
The sentiment is from an Ippity Stamp set called Fall for You.

Katarina...

Today I am posting for the first time in Delicious Doodles, it is my presentation to the followers and my new friends and I am so excited!
I've wanted to join this group for so long. I am so honored and very excited to be a part of this wonderful and creative team.
Teri, the owner and designer has the most wonderful collection of images, you have to visit the Store and see for yourself.
Today I want to share a card featuring Katarina, one of Teri's gorgeous images.

I colored the image with Copics and Prisma Pencils. The background is from the internet and you can find it here. Added an embossed border (Tim Holtz Alterations Texture Fades Embossing Folders: Snow Flurries & Snowman Set) and some bling to finish my card.

You are Perfect...

Hi everybody and welcome to Monday Challenge at The Crafter's Cafe!

We have created this special daily challenge to encourage you to reach outside your "box" and try something new!

Our Monday challenge is

Embellies With A Twist

We all love using embellishments on our creations, but for this challenge we will add a little twist, a little something to make it interesting.

The twist this week:

Fantasy!

We would LOVE to see all types of creations (ex. cards, scrap layouts, fat book pages, artist trading cards, tags, boxes, bags, 3D ~ Altered Art or any other crafting projects that have some form of paper on them).
