New challenge at Stampin' Dymonz

There is a wonderful new challenge at Stampin' Dymonz Creative Space. The rules are:
Your challenge this week is to create a card using the Drop Shadow Stamping technique and at least one other stamping technique of your choice. Your card must have ribbon, 3 flowers, "gems" (of any type -- I used Pebbles in the flower centers) and at least 2 distinctly different papers/cardstocks. The theme for the card is "Sympathy" (i.e., my "thinking of you" stamp).
I decided to use the Drop Shadow Stamping Technique to create my background over white cardstock and inked the edges of some of the embellishments.
Here is the card:

Challenge #5: The Whole Story... at Stampin' Dymonz Creative Space

Challenge #5: The Whole Story... at Stampin' Dymonz Creative Space
This has been so much fun. The final chapter of this series of challenges is here and boy was it a challenge.
Here are the rules:
Take the background you created over the last two weeks and make a Father's Day layout. Your layout can be made to insert into an album, as a wall hanging, or inside of a shadow box. Your layout must include the following elements:

  • Handmade flowers -- at least 3.
  • A hand colored digital image -- at least 1.
  • A photograph -- at least 1.
  • Butterflies -- at least 3.
For the past two weeks I have been learning two mixed media techniques: Credit Card Painting and Serendipity. Part of the instructions were to leave the project created untouched so that we could use it for the following week's challenge.
From the beginning I knew who I wanted to honor through this LO: my dear husband and of course a great dad!
There was just a tiny little problem: Didn't have a clue as of what I was going to do!!!
As days passed, inspiration came to me and a sketch was born.
I had to have at least three butterflies and since I couldn’t make up my mind on the patterned paper, decided to paint some more paper, heat embossed it with gold embossing powder and die cut them.
The flowers are simple handmade lollipop flowers.
The background paper created in Challenge 3 and 4 are the accent pieces on my LO and bring everything together.
Here it is:
Recipe:
DCWV and COLORBOK cardstock
Me & My Big Ideas Patterned Paper
Image: Lost in Paper Scraps
Tim  Holtz Ranger Distress Ink: Peeled Paint and Broken China
Versamark
Stamp: Unity Stamp Ser: Now and Always
Embossing Powder
Acrylic Paints: Deep Teal, Holly Berry, Caramel, and Pure Gold
Adhesive
Cricut Expression
Sentimentals Cartridge
Heat Gun
Buttons

Sisters Card!!!

This card has a beautiful image by A day for Daisies (store). Lately I have been experimenting with different coloring techniques and decided to try watercolors.
Have to admit, that the idea of using water on paper is kind of scary for me, but luckily, no accidents happened and the end result is just gorgeous; then using circular die cuts created some contrast and layers. A bow and a handmade lollipop flower complement the card and add some dimension.

June Challenge at Copic Musketeers!!!

Add a little Sparkle...
This month’s challenge is to create a card that celebrates friendship. Friendships are such an important part of our lives, and they add a certain sparkle to our days. Please create a project this month to celebrate our relationships with each other and add a little sparkle to it. This can be glitter, shimmer, whatever you fancy. You can keep it simple, or you can glitz it out! Whatever you do, it’s up to you… just make sure it shines!

Our sponsor this month is Tellen’s Place Designs. She is offering a $10 coupon to the Tellen’s Place Designs store. If you’d like to take a look at the fun images, please do!
I used Mary & Bev image from Tellen's Place Designs and the sentiment is from Create with TLC.
The background paper was hand painted using the credit card painting technique and I added golden sparkle by heat embossing. The stamps I used are from the Now and Always stamp set by Unity.

Here is my card:
