News and a Challenge at Paper Creations Ink

Hi everyone!

Sorry I've been MIA, but I was sick and things got a little complicated.

I have some sad news to share today, this will be the last challenge at Paper Creations Ink (PCI). Here is the note that was posted yesterday, May 6, 2012 at PCI:

Hello Everyone! It is will deep sadness for us to let you know that this will be the LAST challenge at Paper Creations Ink. It was a very difficult decision for us to make, as Michael and I are having some Personal Issues and just don't have enough time to keep up with everything. I hope that all of you understand. We have enjoyed seeing ALL of your creations and getting to know all of you a bit better. We truly wish you the best creative journey's! I am sure that we will be bumping into you in the future out in Blogland! If you have any questions, feel free to email me anytime! 

Lets make this our best challenge ever! Have a wonderful couple of weeks!

We have a new challenge at Paper Creations Ink and the theme is "In The Garden".
I loved working with the images created by Miranda Van Den Bosch, for this challenge. Miranda is one of our DT members and she is the sponsor for this challenge.

Challenge 15: Music, at Get Hippity with Ippity

Hi everyone!
Welcome to our new challenge at Get Hippity with Ippity!!!
the theme for this challenge is:

Music

All you have to do is make a creation that has a musical theme.  
Remember your creation can be any type of project you like ATC, card, scrapbook layout, whatever pleases you but you must use the color palette!! Also don't forget you must be a follower of our blog to be a winner. Also if you use an Ippity or Unity image - you get entered in the drawing twice!! We really appreciate one extra step if use Ippity or Unity which is to have you leave a comment of which set you used!!
Today I will share a project made as inspiration:

For this project I used the Music of my Heart:

For the die cut pieces I used Elegant cakes and Mother's Day Bouquet cartridges by Cricut. The flower was stamped and the borders were distressed with ink before giving it some shape just using a pencil.

Anything But A Card Challenge at Crafting By Designs!

Hi everyone!!!

Thre is a new challenge at Crafting By Designs.

The theme of the challenge I am hosting during this month is:

Anything But a Card!

I just want you all to step out of the comfort zone of the traditional card and create anything your heart desired: ATC (Artist Trading Card), scrapbook page, treat box, gift box or bag, tag, altered item, mixed media canvas, art journal page or any crafting project that has some form of paper on it!

For this project I used the Happy are Those:

The background paper was created with water soluble oil pastels.
For the label I used the Cricut die cutting machine and Cricut Essentials cartridge.
This challenge will run until Saturday February 18, 2012 at 7PM CST.

Hi everyone!
Paper Creations Ink has a new challenge and it is a lovely one. The challenge is a recipe challenge:

1 Image, 2 Patterned Papers and 3 Embellishments

For my project I made an easel card:

The three embellishments are the gems on the red heart.

The hearts were created with Sizzix die: Tipsy Hearts. The layered sentiment is from COLORBOK.
