I made a Steampunk tag. 

Used: Archival inks, Distress Inks, Embossing powder, alcohol inks gears, cogs and ribbon.

Gothic Tag

 Hello!

Gecko Galz has this wonderful Gothic Challenge using the image provided.

I made a tag using a Distress Inks, Archival Ink, Silver wax paste, Embossing folder, Tim Holtz Die cut, charm and ribbon.

Added dimension to the image by fussy cutting the wings and adding them in layers.

This tags will be part of my Halloween decorations.

Broken Hearts ATC Trio

Hello!

Gecko Galz has this wonderful ATC Monthly Challenge using the image provided.

As soon as I saw the collage sheet I knew that I was going to be doing lots of fussy cutting.

Added some details with stencils, Distress Inks wax paste - silver and gems. 

Absolutly in love with the dimmension of this ATC's.

Acentuated the effect of shatterd glass by heat embossing with clear embossing powder.

Altered Altoid Tin

Gecko Galz has this wonderful Monthly Challenge February Steampunk Love.

I am in love with this project. 

Used images from the collage image set Steam Dream Tin Toppers from Gecko Galz.

The process of creating the rust effect on the tin was long but so worth it. Lots of layers of alcohol inks, distress paints, acrylic paints and embossing ink and embossing powders; and of course, lots of heat.

The rusted elements were so much fun to create, well chemistry helped a lot. Placed some nails, screws, and paper fasteners in a solution of salt and vinegar and left them overnight. removed them from the solution in the morning, dried them and place in a bowl with hydrogen peroxide.  Several hours letter I had lots of rusted pieces to work with. 

Added Note: I was told that this creation seemed inspired by EPCOT Center.
