Summer was to short, now we are back to school, well, College in my case.
I remember when I took my youngest daughter on her first day of school. I was ready to see her cry and scream, not wanting to stay in the classroom. We got to school, she walked into the classroom sat at her table and asked me: Why are you still here?
Of course I kissed her, said goodbye and walk out of the classroom, convinced that she would start crying as soon as she saw I was outside.
Yea, right, I stood at the hall waiting, looking through the glass door each time a kid cried, but it wasn't my little girl. She was smiling, happy, so cheerful. So I did what every parent does, when their kid is so happy, of course I cried my eyes out. The teacher came out of the classroom and hugged me and told me that everything was going to be OK, and that she would be there waiting for me in the afternoon.
It was a long day, but when I picked her at school, she ran outside and hugged me and told me that she missed me. OK, ok, I began to cry again, but this time I was happy.
Now my card:

Oh Julia we all feel that way and my 7 yo was just like your daughter, couldn't wait for me to leave. However everyday he comes homes and tells me about his day for at least a couple minutes before I get ditched to go play with neighbor kids. LOL!!! They grow up so fast don't they?
