Design Team Throwdown

After a couple of months of ooo-ing and aahhh-ing my teammates at Delicious Doodles and I decided we would join in the

DT Throwdown.

This is a challenge blog for Design Teams, a fun way to share our talents.
It used to be done on their forum on Ning, but they have moved to a new blog to make life easier for those not wanting to join forums, etc.
Anyway, last month the winner was Quoth the Raven, and they chose the new theme

'Old and Grey'

Here is my creation using Horrorscope - Virgo

Some details:

Cover a canvas with Fiber paste, added some texture with stamps. once it dried It was time to paint it.

 Used several shades of grey, and white and black paint.

 Love all the texture and contrast of colors.

Added some Stickles and ued my finger to spread it around, just wanted a hint of glitter here and there.

 Coloring Time with my collection of grey Prisma coloring pencils.

Heavy Metal at Delicious Doodles!

I am late again... this project was supposed to be posted on Friday but I've been getting ready for tropical storm Chantal, we were suppose to be receive full impact, but it moved south and all the warnings from the government have stopped, great news for us. For those in the path of this storm, please make all your arrangements and stay safe. 
The challenge at Delicious Doodles is

"Heavy Metal!"

Here is my inspiration piece, using Horrorscope - Leo

Used aluminum metal sheet in silver and gold tone that I embossed, for the background in silver and gold tone, metal eyelets and beads on the tag. The beads are hanging on very thin black ribbon.
