Design Team Throwdown

After a couple of months of ooo-ing and aahhh-ing my teammates at Delicious Doodles and I decided we would join in the
This is a challenge blog for Design Teams, a fun way to share our talents.
It used to be done on their forum on Ning, but they have moved to a new blog to make life easier for those not wanting to join forums, etc.
Anyway, last month the winner was Quoth the Raven, and they chose the new theme
'Old and Grey'
Here is my creation using Horrorscope - Virgo
Some details:
Cover a canvas with Fiber paste, added some texture with stamps. once it dried It was time to paint it.
Used several shades of grey, and white and black paint.
Love all the texture and contrast of colors.
Added some Stickles and ued my finger to spread it around, just wanted a hint of glitter here and there.
Coloring Time with my collection of grey Prisma coloring pencils.
Hope you like it as much as I do.

  4. Wow! Amazing canvas!!! I love your use of texture and fussy cutting to add such great depth and dimension. I agree with Donna...she does look like she's coming out of a crypt...to grab my throat! Ok...I had better run and hide! Seriously though, if your creepy gal ever needs a home I'd gladly take her...even though she may haunt me in my sleep. BTW...thanks for the demo on fiber paste. I have some in my stash, but didn't know what to use it on or how to use it. I have some ideas now :)
