Growing in Unity - Day 1

Hi everyone!
This is so exciting!!
I am a Growing in Unity Gal for this week.

Today I am sharing a one layer card featuring Gratitude = Joy and Make Your Mark rubber stamp sets.

Supplies used; Golden Paints, Archival Ink - Coffee, Pearls and Vanilla Cardstock.

Simplify!!!

I love challenges

I have to admit that they have that driving force that keeps me thinking, hum, how can I do this, or, will it work if I do it this way???

This card was a real challenge.. I had to make a card with one layer and one embellishment.

That is the first challenge over at a new forum, Lady Anne’s Paper Crafts.

Was it hard, let me think... yeeeeeeeeeeeees, I love layers and adding embellies. Then I had an idea and of course I thought it was brilliant, only to find out that it did not work, back to thinking and then it came to me: Keep it simple!

I hope you like it:

For this project I used the following {ippity} stamp sets: Bloom and Simplify and Now and Always. Colored the flower with Distress Markers and used Distress Ink around the card, feel it adds some depth.

For the final touch I added by the bow.

One layer card!

Oh my!!!... That is so hard to achieve for me.
I have this wonderful stamp from Unity Stamp Company called So & So Loves and it had never been used, of course this was the one I used.

Highlighted some details (hearts and bird) and added some ribbon and a bow, to finish my card.
