Awesome News!!!!

I have some awesome news!!!

Recently, I was invited to be part of the Design Team at Paper Creations Ink. I am so honored and happy to be part of this creative group of artist.
Paper Creations Ink holds two challenges per month. Each challenge starts on the 1st & 3th Monday of each month. The past challenge had 179 entries.
Now for the current challenge (details follow):

"Challenge #8 ~ Vintage or Distressed Look"

Good Morning Everyone! Welcome to Challenge #8 "Vintage or Distressed Look"! I hope all of you with children, have gotten off to a good start for the new school year! I bet y'all are in need of some crafty time!?! LOL! We thought this would be a wonderful challenge for all of us to think about the days that have gone by! And just take a few minutes to remember how lucky we are these days, to have all that we do! We want to see all different perceptions of vintage or distressing, the only limitation on this theme is your imagination! You can use any image for this challenge! We would LOVE to see all types of creations, whether it is a Card, Scrapbook Page, Tag, ATC (Artist Trading Card), Box, Bag, 3D ~ Altered Art, or Other Crafting Projects that has some form of paper on it!

All of our Design Team's inspiration is listed above, along with Inlinkz. This challenge will run until Sunday, September 18, 2011 at 7pm CST. Please be sure to check the challenge tab for ALL the guidelines that we have set for our challenges! And for an added bonus, we will be looking for some creative talent to add as our Guest Design Team and works of art to be spotlighted! So be ready, just in case you are picked!

Soul!

The past week has been kind of hectic. After the hurricane, I thought that a lot of time would pass before I sat down and made another card. Well, thanks to a wonderful group of people I have been able to create some cards, and it has been fun.

Today’s card is an inspiration card.
Love the sentiment, a stamp from the set Fall for You by Unity.
The image is from Anne’s Digital Art (Anne Fenton) and I feel in love with it as soon as I saw it.
Used three different die cuts to add some interest to the background, jewels for sparkle and a bow to finish everything.

I love fall, the colors are so warm.
