Froggy ATC!

Challenge # 2: Fool's Game at Poisoned Peas Please

Hi everyone!!!
I am proud to say that I'm part of the Night Crew at Poisoned Peas Please, an alternative art challenge blog.
The theme for the second challenge is: Fool's Game!
It is all about Fool's Game, I am sure we each have a different way of looking at this theme, and thats the fun part, be creative and feel free to express your artistic ideas.
You can use any image for this challenge and we would LOVE to see all types of creations (ex. cards, scrap layouts, fat book pages, artist trading cards, tags, boxes, bags, 3D ~ Altered Art or any other crafting projects that have some form of paper on them). This challenge will run until Sunday May 5, 2012.

GHWI Challenge # 10: Embossing

Hi everyone!
Today I will share a project made as inspiration for this challenge, remember we would like to see your projects featuring: dry, heat, faux embossing or all of them.
We want to see anything you can dream of to create, but please, follow the rules.
The prize is an {ippity} set of your choice from the {ippity} Sales Blog.
If you use an {ippity} or Unity stamp, you name is in the drawing twice.
This is the card I created for the challenge:

I used dry and heat embossing.

My project for Challenge No. 10 uses the following Ippity stamp sets:

"Pain and Pride"

"Warm Wishes"

“Gingham Christmas Greetings.”

I had to heat emboss in steps in order not mix the embossing powders. The background was created with Ranger Distress Ink: Broken China and Perfect Pearls, it doesn't show in the photo but it has a beautiful shine.

Happy Holidays

Today has been a busy day, but I managed to make this center step card.
The image is from Anne Fenton, I love the vintage feeling it has.
Distressed the border with Tim Holtz Distress Ink, added some of my favorite jewels and Stickles for sparkle.
I think that the ribbon adds the perfect finishing touch to the tag.

I went with a vintage look for this card.
Used Ranger's Distress Ink (Vintage Photo) to age the paper.
The bird was heat embossed, then paper pieced to add dimension.

CDAC Progressive Challenge! - Fifth Round: Third Entry

The fourth round of the Crafter's Digital Art Center Progressive Challenge has begun and the theme is "Festive and Fancy". This part of the challenge will run from October 15th, 2011 til October 31st, 2011.

Created a tag and did some heat embossing for the sentiment.

Pretty Me!

Stampin Dymonz Challenge #2: Working With Digis


For this challenge I used an image from Tellen's Place Designs
Challenge Details:

Create an A2 sized card (4.25 x 5.5 inches) using this digi from Tellen's Place Designs. The digi is to be hand colored using markers -- Copics, SU! Stampin' Write Markers, ProMarkers -- any marker sets you have/use. The card needs to be made using the following cardstock colors: Purple, Fuchsia/Magenta, and Black. As part of the use of this image, it must be matted using all 3 cardstock colors, also use cream colored lace ribbon on the project.

Tim Times Ten Grand Give-A-Way Challenge: Day Five

The challenge for today:

Today's challenge is to create a Card Tag. It must be created with one sheet of cardstock, scored and folded. No cutting two individual tags and adhering them... On your card, you must have an image that you colored by hand. You don't have to use Copics if you do not own them; however, some type of craft markers are a requirement for this challenge. Your coloring should be use at least 2 different colors and you should shade your image to the best of your ability. You must mat your image with a mat that has been distressed by sanding.

I love coloring and couldn"t wait till I got home from work to begin working on the challenge.
