Vintage Christmas

Christmas is so wonderful. We usually think of bright crisp colors for this holiday. But some of the most beautiful cards I have seen are vintage style.
Phindy’s Place has beautiful images and when I saw Popcorn and Cranberries I knew it was the one for this card.
The image was distressed using Tim Holtz ink, adding the feeling of aged. This was also done to the background and base card.
For embellishment I added some holly leafs, a string of vintage beads and a bow.

Summer Fun!

It is so hot!!!

My neighbor’s kids are playing in the backyard in a small inflatable pool and they are having so much fun, you can hear them laughing all the time.
That inspired me for this card.
The image is from Bugaboo Digi Stamps. The background paper is from Martha Stewart and I fell it complements the image perfectly. I used my Cricut machine to cut the background circles and the image, and the rectangles for the sentiment (Plantin SchoolBook cartridge).

Mother's Day Card !!!

Some time has passed since my last posting. A lot of work and of course a lot of challenges!

Recently I began working with copics. Those who have visited previously know that I love to color and usually use coloring pencils, but got my hands on some markers and have falled in love with them.
This is the first card I make using copics and it was for my Mom, and she loved it:
Copic markers: B16, R29, RV11, R59, Y08, YG07, YG17
