It's that time of the year again and we all know how busy we are creating crafts for these festivities.
I would like to invite you to share your talents with a very special organization: Send a Smile 4 Kids (SAS4Kids). Below some information about the work they do:
Send A Smile 4 Kids is a charitable blog created for the purpose of collecting donated handmade cards to be distributed to children while they are inpatient at Children’s Hospitals. Currently the cards received are being donated to two Children’s Hospitals in Wisconsin, two in Iowa, one in South Dakota and two in Canada. On any given day, there are many children inpatient in these hospitals who would be cheered by a handmade card. At this time we are looking for Christmas holiday cards as well as any holiday or every day cards. Please refer to the SAS4Kids blog at http://sendasmile4kids.blogspot.com/ for card guidelines and any other details you may need as well as information on their twice monthly challenges.
SAS4Kids is having a wonderful challenge and card drive:
Please follow this link for the complete information and rules for this challenge.
SAS4Kids has three generous sponsors for this challenge: Stamp Shoppe Creations is offering one random winner a $15 gift certificate; Shelley's Images is giving a lucky random winner a $9 gift certificate; and Designed 2 Delight is giving a random winner a $10 voucher AND each of the Top Three a $5 voucher! So go on over to SAS4Kids and enter your creation(s).
Starting Monday November 7th through November 20th, SAS4Kids is thrilled to be partnering with Paper Creations Ink for a CARD DRIVE for our kids! At SAS4Kids and at PCI, the themes of our challenges are "Holiday Wishes for Kids", and we are asking all who participate in the challenges to please mail your holiday cards to SAS4Kids to cheer a child who is inpatient in a Children's Hospital over the holidays. You can enter your children's holiday card at both blogs for twice as many chances to win a great prize from our sponsors! Then please mail it (and other other cards you have that are appropriate for children in a hospital) to any of our addresses listed here.
I am so happy to be one of the Guest Designers this week at SAS4Kids and created this cute card with an image from Shelley's Images:
