New Year and New Challenge at Gecko Galz!

Hi and welcome to my blog!

I want to take a moment to wish you all a Happy New Year!

There is a fun challenge at Gecko Galz Challenge Blog running from January 1-29th and the theme is Gatsby Girls.

My first project of 2025 is a set of cards based on my first layout PSCJ - 202501:
PSCJ - 202501

It's a very simple design and the end result is beautiful. It can be used for cards, journal pages, ATC's, scrapbook pages, etc.
You are free to grab it and use it for your projects, but please give credit to the designer.
This are the cards created:

The images used are from Gatsby Girls Digital Collage Set. Added dry embossing to the white panel and the texture adds so much to the card.

Hope you have fun with the layout.

Hugs,

Julia

Hello...

Hi!

This is a happy card, I just love this color combo.

Paper tearing is always fun to do, and adding dry embossing and silver wax paste completes the card. The sentiment is a die cut and some rhinestones add the finishing touch.

Followed the sketch from Sketch Saturday:

Here is the card:

Hope you like it and are inspired to make some art.

I would like to enter this card in the following Challenges:

Thanks for the visit.

June Weddings!!!

It's time for a wonderful new challenge at My Time To Craft:
June Weddings!
We want to see your creations, for the rules please visit the blog here.
I love how this card turned out. It has that vintage feeling. I have a summer wedding to attend and this card will be perfect.
For some reason I went monochromatic on this card, and this is something really difficult for me, since I love colors, the brighter the better.
I did some dry embossing, used the Stylized Flowers folder.
The sentiment was heat embossed in white. The stamp is from the {ippity} Stamp Set: Fall For You. You can buy this stamp set and other fabulous sets from Aletha's store.
Used the Cricut die cutting machine for some of the embellishments: Swirls (Elegant Cake cartridge), flowers (Mother's Day Bouquet cartridge) and the butterflies (Sentimentals cartridge).
The paper roses are handmade and the centers are white pearls. Added some bling to the butterflies and the other flowers.

Good morning everyone!!!
The theme for Challenge 13 at Get Hippity with Ippity is:
Hearts
One, two, three...or as many as yo desire. It does not have to be Valentine related. We want to see whatever and wherever your creativity takes you. It could be a card, an ATC, collage, mixed-media, etc., but we must see a heart, or as many hearts as you want to show us.
Remember you must become a follower of our challenge blog. Also if you use an Ippity or a Unity stamp in your project, your name is in the drawing twice. If you do use an Ippity or a Unity stamp, please leave a comment and let us know which one. We do appreciate that one little step extra.
The prize is an {ippity} set of your choice from the {ippity} Sales Blog.
I have two projects to share with you today.

New Design Team and First Challenge!!!

Hi everyone!
I have some wonderful news, I've been invited to join Crafting By Designs as a DT and of course said: Yes!
Crafting By Designs is a a fun place to share your creativity, chat with your friends, join a challenge or two and try new techniques.
The theme of the challenge I am hosting during this month is:
Create a valentine for that special someone, mom, dad, daughter, son, sister, brother, etc.
for my first one I created metal accents by embossing a piece of tooling aluminum (Maid-ó-Metal) and then covered two chipboard heart die cuts (Sizzix, Tipsy Hearts). Used some pattina paint (Metallic Art - Gem Crafts) to age the hearts and some bling. Distressed the border of the DP with Ranger Distress Ink (Fired Brick).
Designer Paper by My Minds Eye
I'm entering this card in the following challenges: CFC34 - Create a Clean And Simple project using chipboard at Cas-ual Fridays and Bling it up at Some Odd Girls.
My second valentine is a simple card. Used my Cricut and Plantin SchoolBook cartridge to cut the circles and heart shapes. Added some glitter to the heart for bling and made a tag using the ippity stamp set: Your Friendship, My Cup of Tea.

Designer Paper: My Minds Eye, Colorbok
I'm entering this card in the following challenges: RCC34- Anything Goes with Unity Stamps!! at The Ribbon Carousel and Challenge #4 - "Layers, Layers, and More Layers" at Simply Create Too.
